Are you an unpaid carer?

An unpaid Carer is someone who looks after a family member or a friend who could not cope without their support.  The person they care for could have a disability, illness, mental health condition or may need extra help as they grow older. 

Carers Week is an annual & national campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face & recognise the contribution they make to families & communities throughout the UK.

It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers & access much-needed support
